Change is Upon Us

More specifically, changes are in store for me. And I am not at all comfortable with what the near future holds. I was expecting to coast at least the first few months of the year and get my bearings. But that is precisely why things needed to get shaken up. I am entirely too comfortable, which is like death. Growth has nearly come to a halt. I have become stale and boring. Last year was all about travelling. This year, well, I am note quite sure yet. I just know that some things need to change and they will, whether I want them to or not.

Oh, and there's also Inauguration Week. Road closures. Metro closures. Balls and concerts. Ball gowns and Cowboy boots. At least I get the day off. It makes for a short week and a nice long weekend if nothing else.
